How It Works

If you’re interested in learning more about selling through Teen Effects, first complete our online form to tell us a bit about yourself and your creations. For teens under age 18, we will also request contact information for your parent or guardian. The Teen Effects team will follow up with any questions and to discuss next steps.

We ask that our creators share a bit about themselves, their work and their dreams for the future. We’ll use this content to develop a Creator Bio page on the site that will help customers learn more about you and your work.

Rather than place the burden of shipping each order on the individual creator, Teen Effects will arrange to hold any available inventory for you. When an order comes in, Teen Effects will handle shipping the order to the customer. Creators can also request the return of any unsold inventory at any time.

Once we have your creations in our possession, we will add them to the online marketplace. This is your opportunity to begin marketing and promoting your work. We will share with you general recommendations for how best to draw attention to your creations and, most importantly, to drive sales!

Creators will receive one lump sum payment each month for your share of the proceeds from the sale of your creations. Payments will be made digitally via check, Cashapp, PayPal, or other digital platforms, as agreed upon with the creator and, for those under 18, their parent or guardian.

We hope this is a “Create-Sell-Repeat” process for our young creators. So as you find success in our marketplace, we encourage you to keep creating and adding more products to the marketplace. Keep working hard to grow your customer base and sell more of the work that you put your heart and soul into!
